Artistic direction for the digital campaign and invitation design for Petit Bao, a Bao Family restaurant, celebrating the opening of its new Paris 8th arrondissement location.
Bao Family is a contemporary restaurant brand specialising in baos and Asian-inspired cuisine, known for its playful, creative approach to dining.
Petit Bao heads west (Parisian style).
Creation of an urban western journey winds through Haussmannian streets to Ternes, where Bao Family sets up its new spot. The West becomes a symbol of a crossing: that of a restaurant born in the East, venturing into new territories. On the night of the launch, this conquest took the playful form of a mock wedding, celebrating the union of East and West.
Designed like a contemporary conquest film, the campaign follows a solitary character leaving the East of Paris, bao in hand. Western codes appear subtly: the journey, cinematic framing, cowboy boots, determined looks. The journey culminates in Ternes, in front of a symbolic mountain of baos, marking Petit Bao’s arrival in the West. The invitations, inspired by Chinese cultural codes, take the form of wedding announcements, blending humour with elegance.
